Inspiration

I recently posted my color palatte that Amanda, The Blissful Bride had created and would be using for my very own inspiration board. So today when I checked my reader and saw that she had posted the results I was thrilled! She did great. The board really captures the feel of my wedding- elegant and classy yet laid back and relaxed - don't ask me how that feel works since it is a complete oxymoron, but hey, it's what I'm going for. And the colors are awesome! So enough blabbing, here it is!

Leaving in style...

Well I FINALLY got our transportation arranged for our grand exit from the reception. I originally wanted to just do a basic limo, as that was the cheapest option, but Matt talked me into something much cooler. I figured I'd let him win this one...the car is more of a guy thing anyway. :)

So this is our ride...

a vintage 1948 Cadillac Limosuine.

HOW SWEET IS THAT?!?! I can't wait to ride in it. :) I also think it will be very fitting, since there will have been an antique car show in the town square that afternoon. So if you're coming to the wedding, bring your camera! The photographers will be gone by the time we leave, so we'll need all of you to take lots of cool pictures with us as we exit!! :)

Cute, Cute, Cute!!

So last night I was a scanning machine, and got all of our pictures scanned for the video montage, (by KCMontages). And I couldn't resist posting a couple teaser pics, because, well, quite frankly, Matt and I were ADORABLE as kids. Seriously. We are going to make some darn cute babies! :)

Don't you just want to pinch our little cheeks?!?! Ahh looking through old pictures is So. Much. Fun. I could do it all day.

So the pictures for the montage are all ready to go, we just have to pick songs now. UGH. Any suggestions??????

If the shoe fits...

...wear it at your wedding!! :)

So the shoes I bought off eBay arrived last week.........and.........THEY FIT! And I love them! Woo hoo! The shoe search is FINALLY over!! Here is a not-so-good picture of them on my feet...

They are so cute! And actually comfy too! I'm considering jazzing them up a bit, but not sure yet if I will. I bought two sets of buttons at JoAnn's over the weekend, if I can figure out a good way to attach them they just might work! If I end up having any luck, I'll be sure to post pictures. ;)

Oh, and as promised, here is a picture of the giant bubble of a package I received last week!

How funny is that?! The vases inside are a bit smaller than the ones I have now...

(the one on the right is the one I had, and on the left is the new one...)

But I think I will just make them work. I don't really care to attempt to re-create that bubble for shipping purposes. :)

Well, I got a thing or two knocked off the list this past week, but not nearly enough. Let's hope this week is a super-productive one!! I'm hoping to order the invites this week or next, can't wait to get that weight lifted off my shoulders!!
